Happy 18th Birthday!

 Landon turned 18 the day after his graduation party! Saying our weekend was busy, is quite the  understatement! Him officially becoming a man would have hit me much harder if his graduation wouldn't have been on the same weekend. I was running on fumes. :)

Landon likes pie much more than cake, so my mom made him his favorite - lemon! I was so grateful...and as usual, it was delicious.

The birthday boy  man....

And it wouldn't be the same if he didn't "throw" in a joke. (I think we've all wanted to throw a pie at someone. I know I would never do it because I can't waste food. Ugh, I hate being so practical all the time....) :)

At his request, we took him for his favorite hamburger at Red Robin. I asked the waiter to give him a wrapped gift when they brought his dessert. To his surprise there was a white apple in the box. Hmm...what could that mean? :) 

Yes, we blessed him with a Macbook pro. It was his birthday/graduation gift. I thought it was waaaaaaay tooooooo expensive. But Max put his foot down on this one. He really wanted to get him this for college. His reasoning was Landon saved us lots of $ getting a full scholarship. 

He was so shocked!!!...and VERY grateful.
