Over 36 Years of Service!

Max retired last weekend after serving in the Air Force for over 36 years!

  I am warning you now, there are lots of pictures. But the weekend was too special not post several. Since there were hundreds taken, I am actually taking it easy. :)

The celebration started out Friday night at the Hilton for a banquet dinner. It was incredibly special to have so many family and friends join us from all over the country.
There were over 150 people who attended and we were grateful for each and every one of them! 

A display I put together for Max. Honoring his career, his family who served, and his parents who are in heaven.

The kids and I put these cards together for the tables to give our guests something to read, and give some of Max's secrets away. :)

Max's long time friends from the Air Force. Bill (from Florida), Tony (from Las Vegas), and Randy (from DC).  We knew Bill and Tony were coming, but Randy surprised Max. It was such a great reunion for the four of them. :)
And I got to meet Randy for the first time.
